Refund Policy
Recently, due to the non-approval of Visa from Embassy of Japan, Panipokhari, the question
regarding refund Policy is highly concerned. After the arrival of Certificate of Eligibility,
students have to transfer Tuition and Hostel Fees to the Bank Account of Schools/Universities
through swift method. Moreover, if the COE is issued, students have to pay consultancy charge,
and then original documents will be handed over to students. Consultancy does not hold any
responsibility if Embassy of Japan, Panipokhari does not approve the visa but of course we
prepare for Interview.
Refund Policy of Schools/Universities
Every Schools and Universities have their own Policy of refund but at least following policy is
general.
- Selection Fees (20,000-25,000 YEN) & Admission Fees (50,000-60,000 YEN) will be
deducted. - Some Schools/Universities will deduct even Tuition Fees of 3-6 months.
- However, Refund Policy of every Schools/Universities will be briefed in
Seminar/Orientation/Selection Process held by Schools/Universities. - If Dormitory Fees have been transferred, fees of 3 months will be deducted but not by
every Schools/Universities. - Some Schools/Universities may charge already Selection Fees while conducting the
Interview in Nepal, which will not be refunded even if COE is non-issued. - Bank Charge will be also deducted that takes to transfer Amount from Japan to Nepal.
- Whenever, Tuition & Hostel Fees are not transferred original documents including
educational documents from Japan will not be sent. If any students want to cancel the
COE and receive the Educational Documents, students should pay both Consultancy
charge as well School Fees.
Refund Policy of Consultancy
Refund Policy of Consultancy also differs as country to apply but if the Consultancy is approved
by Ministry of Education, Nepal refund policy might be tantamount. Consultancy charges for
counselling, teaching language and for other assistance. As the Japanese Consultancy, generally
if COE is not issued, they do not charge any Fees. Nevertheless, Consultancy, which provide counseling service for
USA charge counselling fees after the arrival of I-20 because visa policy of USA Embassy is not
predictable. As our refund policy and contract with students, Counselling Charge will not be
refunded if Embassy of Japan, Panipokhari does not approve the Visa due to the personal reason of students themselves.
Why Embassy rejects to approve the Visa?
Though, Embassy has been taking Interview before the approval Visa, it was not tough as now.
There are several reasons why Embassy is taking such a stern step to approve the visa. Some
points have been listed below.
- Those students who are going to study in Japan, at least have to complete the course of
Japanese Language of 150 hrs. but they do not have language competency as of 150
hrs. - Students do not know even daily-used words.
- Nepalese Refugee Applicants are growing which is main reason that enforced to
change Visa Policy. - To perform rude behavior at Interview.
- Most of the students face problem in Japan due to incompetency of Language so if
Embassy takes strict step, Students study Language with hard Labor, which is
hidden motif of Embassy too. - Consultancies issue the completion of Language Certificate of more than 200 hrs but
